What we collect, where it stays and how to ask us to delete it. In short: the tools' calculations run in your browser and never reach us.

We collect information about pages visited, navigation, browser, device and approximate location to understand and improve site usage. Cookies and identifiers may be used for this purpose. We do not include project contents, sequences or form-field contents in these measurements.
You can manage, block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Calculations run in your browser. Imported sequences and projects are saved locally in that browser. Clearing site data removes those copies. Download a project to keep it or move it to another device.
Public-record searches send the identifier or search terms you enter to the database being queried.
“Stay informed” collects your email, the date and the source page to manage requested updates. The M97 form collects name, age, sex, email, medical background or reason for interest, date, source and a request identifier to assess and respond to your participation request.
Forms are transmitted over encrypted connections and their records are not publicly accessible. Submitted data is retained to handle your request. Include only necessary information and avoid submitting data about other people.
You can request information, correction or deletion of data submitted through forms, or stop receiving updates, by writing to [email protected]. We may need to verify that the request comes from the person concerned.
Clearing browser data does not delete a request you have already submitted.
